Strike Out Sexual Assault Bowl-A-Thon

The 8th Annual Strike Out Sexual Assault Bowl-A-Thon will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at Stardust Lanes, Saginaw MI.  Over 200 supporters of the Sexual Assault Center are expected to participate in this year's fundraiser!

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to ensure that all victims of sexual violence continue to receive counseling, legal advocacy, and forensic examinations at no cost. These funds will also help us to provide prevention education to local schools and day care's. Below some specific ways the monies raised through our fundraising event benefit the community:

• Over 650 victims and their family members received services from the Sexual Assault Center
• Over 1,987 counseling sessions were provided to victims and their family members
• Over 128 crisis intervention/crisis responses were completed
• Over 4,201 students participated in one of our prevention programs at no cost
